Agasti seeks impact investment to build public toilets in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Through such an investment, Agasti can create a far reaching impact on public health in the city and make the toilets financially viable; by generating revenue through advertising and cause marketing campaigns..

Of Rs 62,000 crores available under the Swachh Bharat Mission, there are no funds allotted for building public toilets. The Government of India has put the onus on civil societies, NGOs and Social enterprises to create sanitation infrastructure, maintain it and profit from it.

A business plan complete with architectural designs has been put together by Agasti. Locations and permissions to build the toilets have been acquired from the local Municipal Corporations. Provision of space, water and electricity has been promised to Agasti.
